love me, hate me, say what you want about me...

Friday night my sister and I got to go see Brittney Spears in concert along with the pussy cat dolls, after leaving a much devistated little boy at home who was crying cause he wanted a ticket to see Britney Spears. Let me just tell you, She may be crazy but that girl can dance and that girl can put on a show. It was 0ne of the best concerts I have been too. She did a lot of her old music as well as her new CD. I have never seen so many Gay Guys in one place before! LOL. For all of you who listen to 104.7 FM we met John Jay and Rich!! . We had drinks at Margaritaville and watched some trashed women make fools of themselves, almost brawled with some 40 year old ladies who apparently don't know how to do a 4 way stop correctly and almost hit my car - sending my sister into a driving war..... ah so fun.. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!! So shout out to Ashley putting the " Cancer stick smoking Grandma in her place!".

Ms. Chelsea's Bridal show was Saturday in Show Low. It went really well and she got lots of cute things.
Brandon had Rodeo Practice at Toby's house in Pinetop and I ended up picking him up at 10 oclock at night after telling him to set the drink down, walk away from the poker game, and passed all the other lineman there begging for their friend to stay and play. Ah they get older but they are all still little boys at heart.

We went and looked at a house in Snowflake behind the big church on Central and 4th West street. It is an older home, has a great layout of a house.. but needs some major upgrading out of the 80's. When you first see it you have to put on your "potential" goggles. But it is a great deal, and I am ready for the challenge of making it a Great Home. I am 95% sure we are moving into it come the 3rd week of May----- SO Start packing is on my agenda. ( A side note, Brandon's crew is going to Holbrook in two weeks and will be there until August, so yea!)

And last but not least on Sunday I went and test drove some cars and narrowed my search for some new wheels to either a Crysler 300c , a Dodge Charger, or a Ford Edge (random pick from the rest, yes I know). I am still in the deciding factor and we willl see what Hatch Motor comes up with for me. And yes, I am getting a Smoking Deal from Hatch!!

Roosevelt.Good for the Soul.

We went to the lake for the annual Easter campout. Paige had her first campout. Kohan got to play in the dirt and be a boy. We had smores. We dyed eggs. We hunted eggs. We got Easter goodies. We flew kites. We sat by the fire. We told stories. We laughed. We played horse shoes. We went out on the boat. Brandon Wakeboarded.(it was to cold for me.) We huddled under the awning. Because it rained. We ate LOTS of good food. Most importantly we saw friends and family. Priceless.

Cross Roads

I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Why did the economy have to suck right when we are trying to sell our house and move back home? Brandon and I have some tough decisions to make in the next two months - to buy a house or rent one, to sell our house or rent it out,. What if we can't get it to sell or rent out. What then?
What to do if Brandon tops out of his Apprenticeship and can't move to Snowflake. What if he gets stuck in taking a job in Douglas for example. Its back to the long distance relationship AGAIN. Having a husband and the kids having a dad on the weekends only. We have dealt with this for 4 YEARS and I wish it would go away, finally. It is truly is amazing Brandon and I have stayed as strong in our relationship as we have, with all the out of town working - we are talking months at a time of only seeing eachother Friday night thru Sunday Afternoon- and all of the obstacles we have hurdled. It feels like the more responsible we are, the harder we try to do the right thing, the crappier our outcomes. I am tired of putting our lives on hold because of the decisions that others make, mold our lives.
UH, it sucks getting older and having responsibilities sometimes.... All I know is I will be ready for a week of NO responsiblities other than what cocktail I want with my shrimp in Mexico come June. The next two months are going to be a challenge and HUGE DECISIONS for Brandon and I to make.
I guess hold on, and see what happens.
