My Very Happy Birthday to Me!!

My 24th Birthday has come and gone on Dec. 10th. I had the most wonderful day. Brandon took the day off to hang out with me. He made Kohan and I breakfast and then I opened my birthday presents. We dropped Kohan off at the sitters for the day and had a date! He took me to See Australia, which is amazing! I love that movie! Then we ate lunch and he sat at the nail and Spa parlor with me while I was treated to a much needed pedicure. We went and picked up Kohan and went out to dinner at Claim Jumpers where we all over ate. And Finally to bring an end to my day, Kohan and Brandon Sang Happy Birthday to me while I blew out my candles on my Cookies and Cream birthday cake. Lovely day indeed!

Starting to feel like Christmas everywhere you go..

The big day finally arrived ! This would be Kohan's 3rd meeting with the Jolly man in the red suit... Santa Claus! The only difference this year.... he was actually so excited and did not cry when he sat on Santa's Lap! We went to Bass Pro shop to the Santa's Wonderland and got a free picture with Santa and Kohan told Santa what he wanted for Christmas this year.... a guitar. It was a really fun day. While you wait in line they can write a letter to Santa and mail it, and they have a craft project to do also- Kohan made Reindeer Antlers as shown here:

If you go though, go early, they hand out a time card when you can see Santa and it is usually a few hours after you get the time card, so be prepared! We went and ate at Famous Dave's BBQ while we waited our two hours and kohan kept telling the waitress we were eating Reindeer and Elk ribs. Thank goodness he did not tell santa that!

SO Here is the final product:

(*Note the big belly on the right. I don't know if mine was bigger or santa's LOL )
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Kohan Also got to go to the APS Electric Light Parade with Aunt Ashley. Note his enthusiasm to get his picture taken before they left for the parade.

Such attitude for a three year old!!
Brandon and I didn't go, we stayed at home to watch the ASU/ UA game. Sadly we should have gone to the parade :( But we our loyal to Maroon and Gold no matter what. Team Sparky all the Way! We'll get them next year!

Sunday Fun day!

We had a wonderful afternoon in Phoenix, it rained here, while the rest of you got snow! I am so jealous! but to get in the spirit for cooler weather Kohan put on his bear beenie and gloves and growled at everyone that came to the door.... silly Kohbear!! *Note in his pictures his right eye - someone jumped off the couch and hit the coffee table, getting a nice shiner! Thankfully it didn't break open and we avoided the E.R. for some stiches. It just is black and blue and he has one big blood blister! *Nascar was here this weekend, and living 10 minutes from PIR town was crazy!! Kohan fit right in and wore his cowboy hat and watched Nascar racing Sunday afternoon!
I am starting up another blog of bows and headbands that I have made. I should be posting pictures of stuff to purchase soon, so spread the word!!

I'm Going to be a football player... Or maybe Spiderman..

Kohan started his flag football this Saturday. It was the cutest thing ever! There are 11 2year olds on his "team" and talk about craziness!! They had to learn drills, run around the field, catch and throw the football!!

This is Kohan and "coach" running drills.

Dad Helping suit up.

Running down field to me.
And After a long day of being a football player and a super hero, break time for both dad and Kohan! Very fun weekend!

A baby girl is on the way

So last friday Brandon, Kohan and I went to my ultra sound appt. and we discovered that the "guess" by the nurse on my last ultrasound was wrong. She had told me that she wasnt for sure that it was a boy, but Both Brandon and I were positive that it was a boy. Five generations of two boys in the Evans family was some solid grounds to go by. WELL... we got started on the ultrasound and the technician says "man have I had a run of little girls lately." Well I asked her if we were the first boy in awhile and she said " no honey your a girl too" The look on Brandon's face, i wish I had a camera!! I asked her if she was serious!! Oh yes she is definately a Girl! I am so shocked and so is Brandon. Kohan has been telling us all along that he was having a baby sister. I guess we should have listened!! So I got to buy my first little girlie outfit that wasn't a gift for someone else ~ yay!! Now its deciding on a name~ oh~ and having a little girl has me inspired to start making those cute little flower/bow headbands. We will see how my little craft projects goes.... . who knows maybe I can start making them to sell if I get good enough~~

Getting in the Halloween Spirit

We put up all of our decorations, made halloween sugar cookies, and Kohan got his Halloween Costume - he is a sun devil football player. He is so excited to wear his "tackle" clothes. Kohan starts flag football this Saturday. He is now completly potty trained, so he got a new race track to celebrate. Big yay for Kohan!! Oh..And we found out what baby #2 is.......

TWILIGHT THE MOVIE

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS TO COME OUT! ALTHOUGH I THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE FOUND A HOTTER EDWARD BUT OH WELL! COMES OUT THIS WINTER YAY!

Only In Show Low

Last Night a family friend - Dusty Butler- shot an elk in 3c area and "the boys" my dad, my brother, and kohan, went out to the kill site to see it. Kohan was so excited!! Only in Show Low will you have a picture of your son sitting on a dead elk. LoL. He thought the elk was sleeping at first and didnt want to wake him up. Then he found out it wasn't alive and was all over it. He came back to my parents house to tell me all about hiking in the woods and getting his own flash light and finding the elk, gutting the elk and giving it a ride on a four wheeler. He was pretty excited.

Kansas City Mo

We just got back from 4 days in Kansas City Mo for Brandons International Linemans Rodeo Compitition. It was quite the trip!! It rained the entire time we were there, and us Phoenician's got to experience our very first Tornado storm!! On Friday we went to Cabela's in Kansas, Bonner Springs area which was about 20 minutes from our hotel. On the way there the radio breaks in that we are in a tornado warning. We get to Cabela's and ask the lady what to do in case of a tornado. She was not worried at all and said our chances were slim to none of having one. Seriously not even 5 minutes later the announce over the intercom that there is a tornado that has touched down near the facinity of Cabelas and to move to the back of the storm, that is the most safe place in the store. We sat in the "bargain cave" for 20 minutes before they released us. So we bought our stuff - which was rain gear to brave the weather the next day- and headed back to our hotel. On the drive home Sirens were going off , the radio was telling us 5 tornados had touched down the Johnson county- right were we were. Little Texan boy Brandon starts looking at the sky and starts pointing out "tornado hooks" which is the begining of a funnel cloud. We get into some really hard rain and the sky was so black, it looked like a wall. Brandon announces that this is "tornado weather". Sure enough we go under an underpass that has emergancy vehicles parked on top with their lights on and on the other side here comes a funnel cloud touching down. All the cars on the freeway come to a dead stop and storm chasers are flying by us!! It only touched down for about 30 seconds and then sucked back up into the sky. Talk about freakin scary!! All of kansas/Missouri goes back to normal business like nothing happended and we were all freaked out!
Other than that Saturday at Brandon's compitition was really raining, and muddy, I rocked a pair of rain boots and a parka all day. Saturday night at the banquet dinner was really fun, good food!! My little lineman won 1st place in the speedclimb!! Winning, a buckle and a plaque he is now a world champion. Congrats Chico!! APS as a whole took home a ton of trophies and represented Arizona well!! So good job boys!! Its nice to be home and know we are not in Kansas any more!!

3 Years

Me and Brandon celebrated our third Anniversary on Aug. 6th. Well, we sorta celebrated!! It fell in the middle of the week and Brandon is working out of town, so we were going to celebrated that following weekend. Well once in a blue moon Phoenix gets an acutal storm here in the valley and it hit that weekend. Poor Brandon ended up working round the clock all weekend, And we didn't get to go out. But, he did send me beautiful flowers and bought me some Burberry Britt perfume! So We will have to save the romantic dinner for some other time!
Love you Chico!

Exciting Adventures at the Evans Casa

A few fun things worth mentioning about the last couple of days.
1. On Sunday out of boredom we bought Kohan a blow up pool and had a blast "swimming" in the backyard with him, in all 16inches of water it held.

2. When we were done with our underwater adventure in the backyard we decided to play a game of Sorry. Brandon and I helped Kohan with his pieces, and the little squirt ended up beating us both!
AND FOR #3 WHICH IS BIG NEWS!!!

3. KOHAN IS WEARING BIG BOY UNDIES!!! He decided yesturday that he wanted to sit on the potty and Pee Pee in the toilet before his bath. Since then he has gone three more times!! All it took was bribing him with Suckers and Little Matchbox cars from Walmart. He now wears his "Diego Underwear" Very Proudly during the day.
SO.... I am hoping, keep your fingers crossed, he keeps up the good work!! I am so proud of him!! Go Kohan!!

Fathers Day was a lot fun - we did nothing!! Yes that is fun at our house. We are on the go so much it was nice to rent movies, hang out, do no chores and have family time. Kohan was at Brandon's mom and Dads house for a week, I was in Cottonwood with Brandon, and we drove to Tucson to meet Brandon's family Saturday night to pick up Kohan. So come Sunday, we were exstatic to sit at home!!
I have lots of pictures from our recent trip to Mexico ~ I will post those as soon as i Figure out how to~~ Stay tuned!
