TWILIGHT THE MOVIE

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS TO COME OUT! ALTHOUGH I THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE FOUND A HOTTER EDWARD BUT OH WELL! COMES OUT THIS WINTER YAY!

Only In Show Low

Last Night a family friend - Dusty Butler- shot an elk in 3c area and "the boys" my dad, my brother, and kohan, went out to the kill site to see it. Kohan was so excited!! Only in Show Low will you have a picture of your son sitting on a dead elk. LoL. He thought the elk was sleeping at first and didnt want to wake him up. Then he found out it wasn't alive and was all over it. He came back to my parents house to tell me all about hiking in the woods and getting his own flash light and finding the elk, gutting the elk and giving it a ride on a four wheeler. He was pretty excited.

Kansas City Mo

We just got back from 4 days in Kansas City Mo for Brandons International Linemans Rodeo Compitition. It was quite the trip!! It rained the entire time we were there, and us Phoenician's got to experience our very first Tornado storm!! On Friday we went to Cabela's in Kansas, Bonner Springs area which was about 20 minutes from our hotel. On the way there the radio breaks in that we are in a tornado warning. We get to Cabela's and ask the lady what to do in case of a tornado. She was not worried at all and said our chances were slim to none of having one. Seriously not even 5 minutes later the announce over the intercom that there is a tornado that has touched down near the facinity of Cabelas and to move to the back of the storm, that is the most safe place in the store. We sat in the "bargain cave" for 20 minutes before they released us. So we bought our stuff - which was rain gear to brave the weather the next day- and headed back to our hotel. On the drive home Sirens were going off , the radio was telling us 5 tornados had touched down the Johnson county- right were we were. Little Texan boy Brandon starts looking at the sky and starts pointing out "tornado hooks" which is the begining of a funnel cloud. We get into some really hard rain and the sky was so black, it looked like a wall. Brandon announces that this is "tornado weather". Sure enough we go under an underpass that has emergancy vehicles parked on top with their lights on and on the other side here comes a funnel cloud touching down. All the cars on the freeway come to a dead stop and storm chasers are flying by us!! It only touched down for about 30 seconds and then sucked back up into the sky. Talk about freakin scary!! All of kansas/Missouri goes back to normal business like nothing happended and we were all freaked out!
Other than that Saturday at Brandon's compitition was really raining, and muddy, I rocked a pair of rain boots and a parka all day. Saturday night at the banquet dinner was really fun, good food!! My little lineman won 1st place in the speedclimb!! Winning, a buckle and a plaque he is now a world champion. Congrats Chico!! APS as a whole took home a ton of trophies and represented Arizona well!! So good job boys!! Its nice to be home and know we are not in Kansas any more!!
