Recovery

Brandon had his surgery on monday. After four hours of sitting in a waiting room worried and imaging the all the worst possibilities he was done. It went so well they didn't graft bone from his hip, but instead took a piece of his radius bone in his arm and put it into his wrist and rerouted arteries to feed the new bone marrow. It went so well he didn't have to spend the night and was able to come home with me. He is in a lot of pain and has months of recovery but I am thankful that is all. Kohan stayed with his G-ma and called Brandon last night to check on him and told Brandon he could have his wrist since dads was broke. Kohan came home this morning and is very worried about his daddy. He informed me his wrist hurt bad too and we needed to wrap it and prop it up on pillows like dad.
He idolizes his father in every way.
I am just glad he is around for Kohan and Paige. :)

That is the sweetest thing that Kohan had to have his arm wrapped up. I laughed and cried! haha! What a sweetheart. Too bad Brandon had to have surgery, but so glad he is taking it easy and recovering. Hope it all goes well!
